MPS ~ MRP ~ DRP Exception Reports

New generation report options are available for Master Production Scheduling, Material Requirements Planning and Distribution Requirements Planning. Tied to the message selections in System Control and Product Master, these reports will print exception message actions only. The user may select specific messages, along with the standard sort options, such as Planner ID or Product.

The standard generation reports remain available.

Benefits:

·   Improve accuracy and speed of planning cycle by pinpointing actions messages for review.
·   Improve productivity by reducing the time planners spend looking for specific action messages.
·
Reduce the amount of paper and processing time required to deliver critical planning information.
·
Increase visibility to specific action messages to help identify bottlenecks, excess inventory, late orders, negative inventory, etc. as part of an ongoing improvement process.

Features:

·   The reports (MP0075, MR0075, and DR0075 respectively) are designed to choose selected exception messages for review.
·
You can easily elect to see all message types by selecting the F13 function.
·
Each report will show identifying data (like planner, product number, etc.), the exception message text, plus additional data that clarifies what the problem is: exception date, reschedule date, quantity from, and quantity to.
·
There are no new system control records, although the system does use the existing MPMSG, MRMSG, and DRMSG records to see what messages are turned on.
