| PRMS version 9.1 introduces automatic
numbering for new customers, vendors and customer ship-to masters. You may now assign
these numbers automatically or manually. Benefits:

Simplifies the addition of new customer, vendor and customer ship-to master records.
· Greater system flexibility is available
to the user to manually assign numbers or let the system generate the next number for you.
· Maintain integrity of numbering system
by eliminating wide gaps between numbers.
· Facilitates random numbering schemes
and provides a mechanism to eliminate logical yet often constraining and complicated
numbering systems.
Features:
Customer Number
· A function key (F6 - Assign New
Customer) has been added to the customer master maintenance screen.
· The system will access the next
available customer number from the OB - OBCUST screen of system control.
· The system will check to make sure that
customer number does not already exist and increments the next available number found in
system control.
· Provides the mechanism for taking
orders over the Internet when new customers place orders on your system.
Vendor Number
· The system will select the next vendor
number from the AP - APVEND screen of system control when in the ADD mode of Vendor
Master.
Ship-To Number
· The system will search all existing
ship-to records for an existing customer and create the new ship-to master record.
