PRMS may create new product records in PRMS and have skeleton product records set up in
the Warehouse BOSS environment automatically. Benefits:

Automatically creates the BOSS product master record by copying data from the PRMS product
master. (Remember to include the BOSS libraries in the PRMS library list).
· A screen containing various BOSS data
elements has been added to the PRMS product master file maintenance program.
· The new records in BOSS will show as
'Pending Add' status
· By setting up the BOSS files as DDM,
the information can flow from one CPU to another.
· You can add PRMS records without
updating BOSS by backing out of the MS0825.26 screen and the system will accept your
updates within PRMS but not launch the BOSS update.
