| Additional flexibility was added to PRMS order processing
with this enhancement. The default shipping warehouse for the different lines of a
customer order may be based on the customer master, customer ship-to and now the product
number. In addition, one-time changes to a line item shipping warehouse at order entry
time are now allowed. Benefits:
· Increase flexibility for users
operating with centralized order entry and multiple shipping locations.
· Improve customer satisfaction by
eliminating shipment from incorrect warehouses which can add time and expense. The
allocation warehouse is now determined by the warehouse entry specified in the product
master.
· Eliminate custom modifications often
required to support centralized order processing while manufacturing products at different
locations.
· Greatly improve order accuracy by
eliminating keying errors when manually changing a customer order at the line level.
· Added productivity and flexibility in
the order entry process. Eliminates often-lengthy research required to enter orders.
Features:
· A new field as been added to the
product master on the order processing section to identify the default shipping warehouse
for that product.
· When entering customer orders the line
level detail will use this new field to default the shipping warehouse.
